These terms govern your use of BrainRetain. By creating an account or using the app, you agree to them. If you don't agree, don't use the app.
BrainRetain is a spaced-repetition learning tool. You save articles, podcasts, videos, and notes. We generate short quizzes from that content and schedule reviews so you remember more of what you consume.
Content you save into BrainRetain stays yours. You grant us a limited license to store, process, and display that content to you, and to run it through the third-party services listed in the privacy policy for the purpose of generating quizzes and scheduling reviews.
Don't save content you don't have the right to use. Don't use BrainRetain to store illegal content or content that infringes someone else's rights.
When you share a card, you ask us to create a public link and a copy of that card so the people you send it to can view and answer it. You're responsible for what you choose to share. Don't share content that's private to someone else, that you don't have the right to share, or that harasses or harms another person. We can remove a shared card and disable its link if it's reported or breaks these terms. Details on how sharing works are in the privacy policy.
BrainRetain is provided as-is. We work to keep it running, but we don't promise uninterrupted service, and we may pause or change features at any time. We'll give reasonable notice for material changes when we can.
BrainRetain Pro is an auto-renewable subscription, offered as a weekly, monthly, or annual plan. New subscribers start with a 14-day free trial. The price of each plan is shown on the subscription screen in the app, in your local currency, before you confirm.
Your use of a subscription is also covered by Apple's standard End User License Agreement.
You can delete your account any time in Settings. We can suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, and we'll remove your data as described in the privacy policy.
BrainRetain doesn't provide medical, legal, financial, or professional advice. Quiz questions are generated by language models and may be wrong. Verify anything important with a primary source.
To the maximum extent allowed by law, BrainRetain and its operators aren't liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages from your use of the service. Our total liability for any claim is capped at the amount you paid us in the prior 12 months, or $50, whichever is greater.
We may update these terms. When we do, we'll update the date above. If a change is material, we'll let you know in the app or by email.
